Learning to write instructions.
I found this activity easy because I have already been taught how to write an instruction. I am proud of how well I have done the fizzy lemon drink. My next step with writing instructions is to have them in a step one, step two order.

Learning to draw a giraffe and blend using pastels.
My favourite part of making my giraffe was drawing my giraffes head because I knew the colours that I was going to do for the cheeks and I also liked how I did the tree stalks going behind my giraffe.

Learning to write an adjective poem.
I have been learning to use adjectives to add detail to my writing. I found this activity quite easy because I put easy words into my writing and while I was writing I was looking in the dictionary. My next step with using adjectives in my writing is to already know the new words that I looked in the dictionary for.

Learning to read clearly to an audience with expression.
I have been learning to use my voice to read with expression. I found this hard because the writing of the poem was quite small. I am proud of reading this poem because I sound out the words when I don't know it. My next step is to know all of the words I'm reading so I can read the whole poem with expression.

Learning to use describing words.
Moon and Sun
I have been using my describing words to write a diamante poem. I found it tricky how to find out the words that I didn't have in my writing. I am proud of thinking about the words that I chose. My next step is to make an even bigger poem with more describing words.

Learning to summarise by skimming and scanning.

The main characters are Rita, the bus driver, Charlie, Mike, Sam. Sam wanted the rabbit and chickens and mice. But Sam got the skeleton instead. But Sam didn't mind that Sam got the skeleton. Then his bus stopped and let Sam out of the bus and the skeleton then the bus driver drove away.
My picture shows the skeleton on the bus.
I found this activity a little bit tricky because on the computer it's hard to write. My next step with summarising it to practice with harder books.

Learning to skip count in fives.
I have been using mathletics to help me learn to skip count in fives.


At first I thought the answer was 26 but then I thought it was 30 because it goes 25 then 35 so it needed to be 30.
I like mathletics because it's fun and it helps my learning because I can skip count and learn more basic facts.
